The SISSEL® Hot-Cold-Soft-Pack 40 × 28 cm is a large reusable gel compress designed for targeted heat and cold therapy, with its generous surface area making it especially suitable for the back, shoulders, thighs, and other larger treatment areas. SISSEL specifically highlights the pack for back applications and professional or home therapy use.

Its flexible gel filling allows the pack to adapt comfortably to the body, while the soft, textile-like outer surface improves comfort during application. The pack can be cooled in a refrigerator or freezer for cold therapy or heated in a microwave or hot-water bath for warm applications.

Recommended For

Ideal for back applications, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, sports recovery, muscle discomfort, and general hot or cold therapy. Its larger dimensions make it particularly useful when a broader treatment area needs to be covered compared with a standard compact gel pack.

Hot & Cold Application

For cold therapy, place the pack in the freezer for at least 2 hours at approximately -15°C to -18°C. Apply only for as long as comfortable, with a maximum application time of around 20 minutes. Allow the treated area to remain uncovered for at least 20 minutes before reapplication.

For heat therapy, the pack can be warmed in a hot-water bath for approximately 7–10 minutes at a maximum of 80°C. For microwave heating, SISSEL recommends gradual heating; at 300 W, begin with approximately 90 seconds, check the temperature, and continue in 30-second intervals if necessary. Knead the pack after heating to distribute the temperature evenly.
